Married for less than nine years of my life and divorced now for over twenty years since that marriage, I hardly know it any other way, but being just that---A one.

I was diagnosed with cancer again in Feb 2007. Getting my treatment at the West Palm Beach Medical Center on the 8th Floor. I wouldn't recommend it for a retirement plan, but I am surviving comfortably now. Anybody out there who can relate give me a shout.

At 52, I am still single , but full of life . Got diagnosed with cancer in 1998 after a successful journey on the USS Enterprise to the Gulf. Received great treatment on Portsmouth Medical Center in Virginia. Cured and back on a ship for another tour of the Gulf on the USS Truman in 2000. Went to Jax , Fl in 2002 Retired in 2005 . Moved to Orlando to take care of dear old Mom. Dad passed away in 85. He retired from the AirForce in 1973 with 30 years. My father was a retired E9( CMSGT). I followed in his foot steps but decided on the Navy . I served 24 years and retired as an E9 in 2005. My biggest challenge has been my child. Who is now 18 and living in New York City.. I am living with my brother, Bill DeShong. He is a Senior Project Manager at Meisner in Delray Beach, Fl. We are moving to Boynton Beach,Fl so his girlfriend and him can be closer to work. I am happy to be alive and breathing after a lifetime of sailing, partying, and just living. I am home and I am free. Vote Please Forever a Blessed American. Kathy
