Lived on Dereham Close at R.A.F. Lakenheath, England from 1968 to 1973
Where are you now, and where have you been?
Reside in Opelika, AL: a town that rests alongside the village of Auburn: home of Auburn University; of which I'm a graduate. Besides born in England and living there a couple of times ( including Greenham Common and Upper Heyford) I have also lived in Bermuda, Oklahoma, Florida, North Dakota, Tennessee, Georgia, and of course Alabama.
What's new with you? Work, play, relationships, family?
It's all been rather anomalous at times.
What did you do between Lakenheath and now?

Dean, I am so sorry I didn't respond sooner with your request for Deni La Rue's address. Life happens while we are making other plans and here I am. We have a remodeled home and a new grand daughter both which are amazing but I wouldn't have said that about the home last year while it was happening. I will pass on your email address and link to Deni this weekend when she is in town for a wedding. You've been busy and your page is amazing. Take care and again I'm sorry for the lonnnnnnnnng delay. Dean, I will look in my Lakenheath things this weekend and see if I can find a Lancer Ledger. Have so enjoyed this website and am, again, so glad become part of it. I will let you know of my findings.

Hello Dean, I loved your photo album. What memories! I can hardly believed I ran around a soccer pitch year after year in England, during the winter, wearing nothing but a t-shirt and short-shorts. Either I was having fun or just plain crazy. Good times!

Yes, I was into Taste and RG quite a bit. Saw RG in England in '72 and again a few years later in San Francisco. Got to talk to him after the show. I've got tons of his stuff. Also, if you're into Electric Flag, I know those guys, and I have a cd of their reunion show last year, which has so far not been released. I also have some Nick Gravenites stuff, him playing with David Laflamme, and some other local shows. Nick is recovering from a knee replacement, but I want to have them play a party for me next spring. It'll be a total blow-out. Let me know if you're into anything rare, especially Bay Area stuff, and I'll see what I can do.

I agree... it certainly makes life more interesting...Lancers meeting up after so many years.

This has really been a great link for me and I am so glad that Olga Wright found me for it. You were right the Dayroom has been great. Hope to meet up with others on this site. Really enjoyed you picture video. Hope to set one up for myself, too, soon.
