Profile

What was your graduating class year? If you were a dormie, which one?
1990
What years were you at Lakenheath?
1987-1990
Where are you now, and where have you been?
Currently living in Rapid City, SD.

After Lakenheath:
Rapid City, SD
Lackland AFB, TX (Basic Training)
Sheppard AFB, TX (EAUC Tech School)
Keesler AFB, MS (Tech School)
Ellsworth AFB, SD (first duty station)
Fairchild AFB, WA (Survival School - in January, brrr)
Offutt AFB, NE (second duty station)
Japan (TDY)
RAF Mildenhall (TDY)
Greece (TDY)
Turkey (TDY)
various other state-side bases TDY - had to stay on base, here, so pretty uneventful
Omaha, NE (after getting out of the AF, tried cohabitating)
Rapid City, SD (can't stay away from the Black Hills!)
Caribbean (vacation with the wrong guy! but I didn't know he was wrong till I went on vacation!)
various states for travel, conferences for work, etc.
What's new with you? Work, play, relationships, family?
For anyone who knew me, you may remember me saying I would never marry and never have children. Well, I held out as long as I could! I met the love of my life - Eric - 2 years ago, and I've never looked back. We are getting married in July in Medieval style! He has 2 children, 8yo Te'a and 5yo Devin. We all adore each other. And I can't forget my wonderful chocolate lab, Jazz (named after the Transformer). He is supposed to be my fiance's dog but, well, if you love dogs you know how that goes.
What did you do between Lakenheath and now?
I joined the Air Force in '91 and served for 4 years in the Airborne Communications career field. I was stationed near my home town at EAFB, SD, and then at Offutt, NE. After getting out of the AF, I hung around Omaha for a year before moving back to Rapid City, SD. I became a 911 Dispatcher in '96, and am still loving it. I'm also an SRT dispatcher (our answer to SWAT), and field training officer. Now I'm just trying to juggle a career that had been my first love for 9 years with my real love - Eric and his kids (and my chocolate lab).
Name some old Lakenheath classmates you have contact with and will tell about this site.
I don't know! Sean Corrigan introduced me to it, and as soon as I have an opportunity, I will do the same! I'm so excited!
