Profile

What was your graduating class year? If you were a dormie, which one?
1980
What years were you at Lakenheath?
Feltwell 1975 - 1977
Where are you now, and where have you been?
Tucson, Arizona - now
Davis, California - college
New Jersey - Westpoint Prep School
Sacramento, California - high school
What's new with you? Work, play, relationships, family?
Beautiful wife with two boys 7 and 2.
What did you do between Lakenheath and now?
Dad retired out of McClellan in Sacramento where I went to highschool. Graduated from UC Davis. Was a banker with Wells Fargo. Grad school at the Univeristy of Arizona. Management consulting with Ernst and Young while based in Tucson. Racked up a few million airline miles while traveling as a consultant. Currently, own a regionally based boutique consulting company in Tucson. Love the desert - England never got quite warm enough, brrrr.
Name some old Lakenheath classmates you have contact with and will tell about this site.
OK, here is a stream of consciousness thread of friends I keep in touch with and others I would like to connect with again - Steve Sanabria, Larry Kirkland,Todd Andrews, Danny Carmichael, Bridgette West, Linda O'Connor, Loretta Herron, Dana Max & Tommy Leach ("1&1&1 is 3 got to be good looking cause he's so hard to see"), Andrew Knauss, The "Committee", The "Dolphin Gang", The "BSB" - Bible School Boys or Bring Some Booze depending upon the day of the week, Darren Berdine, Mike Handy, Ron Myreck and Kathy Weilatz, Julie Weilatz, Siobhan Scrogum, Hillary White, Leslie Deruntz, The Ruffin brothers, Tony Fuller, "Butlins", Mike Brown (RIP), Mrs. Watson, Pete Long ( I just wonder what became of him), Kathy Penas (fellow inductee of the National Junior Honor Society, I wonder if she ever changed her last name), Gretchen Byrd - my fellow debate partner, Craig and his black lab named Vince (I think), Janetta Coutee, that flamboyant brother named Rodney or Roderick?, Avery Webb, Mike Boyd, Jr., Jamaal & Tony Jenkins - whew!

My son's looks are mostly from the misses but his attitude and athleticism might be mine (ha). He will need me or a picture of his family to get into that Historical Black College. ha. By the way, the Dolphin Gang was limited to a select few. Not sure if that "few" was ever considered the chosen ones. I see you do some consulting work in the financial industry. I am the chair of a large credit union in Socal. Maybe we do have a connection.

Great family pic...we need to hook up next time were in Tuscon. I remember the youth dances and a peep squeek trying to hang with the "big boyz"..ha. I knew you would be successful someday. Maybe the early jabs were character building exercises. My son has been involved in mixed martial arts since 4 years old...that along with baseball, basketball, soccer and golf. I am very afraid.

Hey There! What a beautiful picture of your family!

I had some bittersweet feelings about those pictures I posted. Wish I was still in touch with some of those pictured, wish I still looked the same, wish I could turn back the clock just once for a brief time. But am not really complaining. Life is good and I have been blessed! Happy Spring time to you and yours!

Hey Leamon,

I married a lady from Phoenix and a number of her friends settled in Tucson. I've been there often enough that I could have been in line with you at Bashas. But I'd have recognized you because you look the same.

That Spinners concert was my first show too. I still bore the tears out of my son by playing their music in the car. And when Staples did that campaign with the Rubberband Man song playing, I never Tivo-ed through that one.

Thanks for the kind words. I'm pretty happy. I've got a lovely family now, my Mom and Dad are still healthy and happy, and my brother Bob and his wife are doing well. What more can you ask for as you bear down on 50?

I know UC Davis really well. My cousins went there around the time we were in Feltwell.

Were you in Feltwell only 2 years? Man, you cut a memorable swathe through those years, and that's what counts.

I'm really happy to read about all your accomplishments and how well you seem.

Keep in touch. Best, Steve
