After I left Lakenheath in my Junior year I went to Grand Forks , N.D. to graduate than went to Homer Alaska to visit my sister. Left Alaska and went to Loveland , where I joined the Navy in 1979. Served 4 years in Mayport , Fl. Got out and went back in in 1987. Retired from the Navy in 2005, so have been to numerous ports in the Mediterranean and Gulf. I retired as a QMCM (E9),

- Divorced twice , My son just graduated from High School and is working. He just moved in with his Dad . I am going to live with my brother who graduated from Lakenheath in 71. You will probably remember Bill DeShong before you remember me..
- What did you do between Lakenheath and now?

I'm dropping a line again your way and hoping you don't mind. I just wanted to let you know that I'm thinking of you and wishing you the best possible during such difficult times. Your brother Bill is definitely a godsend, as you said. And even though it's not much, I'm glad some of the music posted brings a bit of comfort your way. God Bless you, Dean W.G.
I am taking oral chemo and I live with thrush going down my throat. Can you give me any suggestions on something a little tastier than suspension stuff that I gargle and swallow three times a day. Lester said his wife Peggy Sue is also a nurse. I will not be going to the reunion due to my health. I did go to the Reunion in San Diego. That was fun but not real fun. I have a lot of people reaching out and I love all the prayers that keep my spirit positive, I travel to see all my friends but my last trip to New Orleans told me I need to stay closer to home.. I am only on the computer on Saturdays due to it being in my brothers bedroom. My computer is also down. I am thinking about getting a lap top, but my fingers hurt so bad due to hang nails that are infected and toes with blisters. I have had them since I started on the Oral Chemo. I live each day with a smile on my face. Heading for my Mom's tomorrow for an overnight sleepover. She is now 87 and lives about two hours from Bill and I.. She is a trooper and keeps me going. My brother is a God Send. I finally moved in with him back in July of 07. Brain/ Bone cancer is a very private hell. so if you can suggest anything that will make me feel any better I will take your suggestions onboard. I live in Boynton Beach, Fl and I am in contact with Dean Wiseman due to his music that he downloads
I just see a name I recognize and respond. No motives here. Trust me I should update the photo. I am on steriods so I have gained serious weight and look like the Blueberry boy on Willy Wonka. Bill's girlfriend is cooking dinner, so I shall go hangout with them. We all went to Safari Park today where you drive your car through and see animals from Africa and India. It was beautiful and I was grateful .
