trying to organise a reunion in England

It is actually 10:00 am as I am in England So for those of you that are interested I am thinking that a reunion in England sounds like a good idea. I have tried on several occations to contact the base, as a reunion at our old high school sounds fun. Now as a English bird who has only ever lived in the States for 15 months when I was a teenager, I found the lady "Sharon" I spoke to had an extrememly strong American accent that I struggled to understand. I think that sounds funny because I thoug… Continue

Estelle, My e-mail address is richardwaldo83@comcast.net. Great to hear back from you again, especially how busy you must be with all the little ones and working at the same time. I just think that its so wonderful to reconnect after all these years. What a great website. Richard & I have been enjoying reading everybody's updates. Thanks for taking the time to e-mailing me. I will be looking forward to hearing from you. Love Michele

Hi. I'd left LHS before you were there so our paths never crossed, but I've read some of the comments you've left about planning a possible reunion at the base. That would be excellent as I've never been in the position to attend any of the stateside ones. Anyways, I live in Bury St Edmunds which is about 15 miles from Lakenheath, so if there was anything you wanted me to find out or if there was anything you wanted my help with, please don't hesitate to contact me ~Caroline~

I was checking out your pictures from the yearbook. You would happen to have a 1985 yearbook would you? My sister hid her's yearbook from me before I could borrow it from her. She claims that she doesn't have it. I can't tell you how many times I searched that hot attic at my parents house looking for it over the years.

If you have one let me know.
Take Care

Did you make it to Vegas? Things fell through and I couldn't get there. I'm still at lhs86@yahoo.com. Hit me up if you get anything going on a reunion at the school. Hell hit me up if you just want to say hello.

Hi again. So good to re-connect after all these years. Sounds like you've had a pretty fulfilling life after school. I always look back on my years in England as the best years of my life. Ah to be young and reckless again (and able to drink more than three drinks without being snockered) what part of England are you living in now? What are the sexes of your babies and what are their names? Send me some pictures if possible. Richard's mom and dad still live in Mildenhall and his sister and her husband are in Diss. His other two brothers are stateside. The last time I was in England was 1995 but would love another visit sometime. Write me back when you get the chance. Take care sweetie..................

Estelle, hey girl, it's only been about tweny years since I've seen or heard from you. This is coming to you via my husbands account. I used to be Michele Stutler, Class of 86. Now I'm Mrs. Richard Waldo(class of 83) You may remember I started dating Richard our senior year. We were at your house partying grad night. We used to hang out with Lori Labade and Rachel Fehr. Richard just found this website a couple of weeks ago and wev'e been checking it out. Sounds like youv'e been busy over the years with your children, 5 hugh, wow. I think it's so cool you are still in England. I would love to go back and live there. Richard and I got married in 87 in Texas after Rich joined the service. We've lived in Germany(where I ran into Michael Mann 86 and Matt Monroe 85)New York and now sucky Utah. Richard's out of the service now but still works on base as a civilian. We never had any kids just dog babies. So, drop me a line sometime and well catch up..........

Estelle,
We had yearbook class together. (I think...the memory goes, you know?) But I'm pretty sure. Plus you did a lot of student council and I think we mixed there too. I don't think having kids "ages" you so much as it makes you grow up...fast!
How did you stay in England? Your mom or dad is a native? Or retired? Or you just said, "See ya" after graduation and stayed in country? Very cool!

Estelle;

Yes, I do remember you! I see you are still around our old stomping grounds. I hear Lakenheath has really changed.

I hope to see you at one of our reunions. I am still waiting to here when and where one will be held.

Keep in touch!

Hey Estelle,

Yeah its been a while. I think I lent you a pencil so you could fill out your scantron test in psychology. Its only been a couple decades so whenever I can get that number 2 back. Speaking of number twos, I've got two kids. Three years old and two. What a fun age, they're just learning to whine. Hope you are well.
Peas,
Brian
