1988
What years were you at Lakenheath?
1985-1988
Where are you now, and where have you been?
Currently living in Midlothian, VA. Since LHS: Torrejon, Spain to Zaragoza, Spain to Albuquerque, NM then to Dublin, Ireland, back to Albuquerque and finally to VA.
What's new with you? Work, play, relationships, family?
I'm a new stay-at-home-mom since moving to VA. Been married 8 years to an Irishman. I have two kids - Micheál (7) and Olivia (3). I'm a 2008 Partners in Policymaking Graduate.
What did you do between Lakenheath and now?
Went to Spain with the family for a few years - loved it! Then went to UNM; majored in Criminology and Spanish. Ended up in Operations for a medical manufacturing company. Met my husband - he whisked me away to Ireland :) Came back to the US and worked for a laser optics company until our move to VA.

I'm not gonna make it to the reunion either. We're going to Las Vegas this week instead. Jenny's dad just retired from Frito Lay and got a $4000 travel voucher that he gave to his wife, so we're meeting her in Vegas with on their dime. Her dad isn't even going. Bill is going though, since he lives in C. Springs too. You should look him up when you see Annie. He supposedly has a serious girlfriend at the moment.

We don't currently have any plans to go to VA. Unfortunately, at this point the next possibility would probably be if we were to attend Jenny's Grandmother's funeral whenever she were to pass on. Next time though, I'll definitely try to make it with my wife and kids.

Does Michael like T-Ball? Jonah liked it well enough, but prefers basketball now. Tess has taken gymnastics and some dance classes, but hasn't really loved them. So She's gonna try some art classes in the fall. They're both in year-round swimming lessons once a week as well and really enjoy that.

Hi Loli,

I just stumbled on some pictures from October 2006 when Jenny and my kids visited Virginia and hung out with you for a while. Thought you would like to know.

How're things?

Suzy has an 11-month-old daughter, Lily Dulce Harwood (and she IS a sweetie), and is in the process of moving, with her husband Adam, to the U.S. Virgin Islands so he can pursue his dream of farm-raising fish. Tommy lives in West Virginia with his wife, two stepkids and their two little girls, Zoey(5) and Every(3). He works for Freddie Mac and commutes into D.C. (Tyson's Corner) Monday through Thursday and works from home on Fridays. He also travels a lot. So I dug out the last card you sent me and googled your town and you're only about 3 hours away from us. We're about 30 miles south of Chesapeake, VA. We should get together! If it's easier for you (with a 3-yr-old), I could invite myself over just like old times, but without the screaming and cussing from my mother. Your son Micheal (I can't type the special characters - why do you have to make it hard for me?) is the same age as my daughter Sasha. I'm glad to hear you're home with them! As of yesterday (I've been substitute teaching), I'm home for the summer with mine, but also watching a friend's two kids. Maybe the next time Mike goes to Reserves for the weekend?

Hey, better late than never! Oh, and the good news is that I finally figured out that I'm lactose intolerant, so I'm smelling better these days!

Loli! Of course I remember you guys! We went to church together! You look great and your kids are so cute! I would love to hear about living in Ireland. Catherine is right - we had big hair and we are getting old! This is such a great site. Have you heard from anyone else that was in our youth group at church? Remember our trip to London? That was fun! Take care, and God bless. I am going to try to get some pics on soon!

Hi Loli!! It HAS been a long while (20 years??). It was great to see what you've been up to and your kids are absolutely adorable. I promise I'll post more pictures sometime soon. It was fun to look through yours - saw my sister Amy in there. That really brings back the big-hair days! OK, enough reminiscing for today - I'm starting to feel OLD! Ha Ha. Take care!!

I just don't know. I think we are going to take our family vacation the week after so I'm not sure work will let me off back to back weeks. I will let you know what comes of it as we get closer to the date.

Hi... I told her about it. She is a little busy right now though... In the process of providing me with my first niece or another nephew. I'm sure that is her primary motivation! Anyhow... her email address is weloveourbug@aol.com. Great pics of the old days! sounds like you are doing well... That is great. I spent the summer of 89 in Zaragoza... were you there at the same time? If you were cannot believe we did not run into each other.... such a huge base. Stay i touch and I'll remind here to get on this site again. You going to Denver in June?

Yep! My mom's name is Mercedes Monge Maldonado and her home in Spain is on Paseo de Teruel. I could live there tomorrow if my husband could get a job there. He speaks fluent Spanish (surprisingly) even though he is the traditional white boy. haha He lived in Mexico for some time playing baseball in the Minors and picked it up. His pronounciation is perfecto! What was your mom's name?

Ha! By the way, I married an Irish man too but he doesnt have an accent. His father is Irish. I'm jealous you lived in Spain. Remember my mom is from Zaragoza. We plan on making a trip this year. I was waiting for my son to get a bit older so I can handle the plane ride with him. He's a wild man. I hope you can swing the reunion...it would be great to see you. I stay at home with my kids too. Much harder than my other job!!!!
