Thanks for trying, Brad. If you have any luck it will be a miracle. I sure would give anything to have those yearbooks again. That's the only time in my life that I would be willing to live over again.

Hello Brad, don't know if you'd remember me, I'm Debi Furr's sister. I have a request if you would have the time: I do not have any of my yearbooks from Feltwell, and was wondering if you could find the school's information for me so I could inquire about possible back copies, or archived copies. I know a few people who would also love to have copies of their own. I am particulary interested in the school years between Aug '73-May '76. If you would be so kind as to find the school's information, I would love for you to e-mail it to me at kdefonte@satx.rr.com. Thank you!!

Hi Brad, I see you finally made it to the sight. I remember our soccer battles against eachother and are battles against the local english teams...19.5 years in the UK. I got into Mildenhall occasionally in the 80's. great pics.

I had forgotten the name of the pub but I do remember that I was getting served there at 15. I was drinking vodka gimlet's back then. Strange drink for 15 don't ya think. Got all my drinking over and done with in my mid twenty's. I still partake every now and then but the recovery gets harder and harder. Would love to get back sometime, I will look forward to a tour. Thanks for the offer, will you make it back state side anytime?

Debi,

Yeah surprised Pope and I never made more effort. Not sure He and Sue split on best of terms but only rumor. Guess their son TJ has a family of his own now. See you are trying to get to Italy for a tour - great place and been many many times Brad

I'm glad to know you're enjoying life in England and have a good one with your family there. I can see how you would prefer it to the states. I would have thought Mike would want to keep in touch with you. You guys were close. He contacted me in 1985.

Hey Brad, I've been found!!! This is so much fun, I'm glad technology finally gave us a way to reconnect. I have made and lost so many great friends in my life by being a military brat. I've caught up with all of your news and I'm so envious that you were able to stay over there. I was there in 1990 and couldn't get on base because I didn't know I needed a sponsor. I totally cried and tried to pay some random soldier to take us on base. Didn't work out. I went back 3 years ago ( I have family in Crawley) and dragged my mom (who is also English) back to the base so she could get me on and find out my cousin doesn't have the proper license plate or something like that and they won't allow his car on. I couldn't believe it, this time I didn't cry I got pissed. So we get this brilliant idea to hire a taxi cab to drive me and my mom around the base. Totally bummed me out because I couldn't stop and check out the school or anything. I drove by our house, we lived over by the base commander and they have torn them down and put up new (that's really a good thing) but that made me sad too. Anyway both trips were a total bummer but I still have that desire to go back there. Best part of growing up for me. I think I'll be calling you the next time and you can give us a personal tour. Hopefully you can still get on base. I'll be posting some old pictures as soon as I get a scanner. I have a ton. Take Care, Kel

Brad,
I just realized, I didn’t respond to the other info you included in your last message. First of all, FIVE KIDS!!! Are you building a five-a-side youth soccer team or something? Also, I’m sorry about the Leeds Utd thing. You and my father suffer from the same disease. I always thought they were the dirtiest team on the planet, which explains why my father liked them, but you too?? However, I still have an autographed Peter Lorimer #7 sock tag that he “gave” me when I ran onto the pitch at the end of an Ipswich Town match. I think Wise & Poyet (ex-Chelsea men) have got them turned around before they took off for greener pitches and Leeds should be able to work their way back up through the divisions now that they believe in themselves a bit more.
Take Care, Dave
