- What was your graduating class year? If you were a dormie, which one?
- 1976 (but I actually graduated in the states)
- What years were you at Lakenheath?
- 1968-1972
- Where are you now, and where have you been?
- We left Lakenheath for Topeka KS for 1½ yrs. Then we moved to San Diego where I've lived ever since. I been back to visit Lakenheath the summers of '73 & '74 and then again in '99. Though I love San Diego, my fondest memories are of Lakenheath.
- What's new with you? Work, play, relationships, family?
- I am married, have 1 son, 2 stepsons (one of which is USAF). I am not currently working (well, I sell Gold Canyon candles part time). My mum just recently passed away (July '07), my brother Rick died back in 1979. My dad is here in San Diego and my sis is in Wichita KS .
- What did you do between Lakenheath and now?
- I did Accounts Payables for years, & was an EMT for a couple. Loved being an EMT, but doesn't pay enough to eat on, let alone live on. I got to see Elvis 1½ yrs before he died and was handed a scarf by him, during the concert. (I sat out all night to get front row center seats) For those who knew me, they will remember I was a HUGE Elvis fan.
I have had a very simple boring life compared to you all. I didn't join the military, but have been exposed to it all my life. I tell people I was raised an Air Force brat, but now I'm just a brat. I married a Navy man that served 4 yrs. Divorced him, raised my son till he was grown and then married a USCG man that retired after 24 yrs. But living in San Diego I've been around Navy and USMC all these years. What a drastic change from the USAF. It was quite the culture shock when we moved here. I've since then grown accustomed to it though. I have had fun being in touch over the years with a few of you from Lakenheath, but am loving getting back in touch with more of you.

Been several years since I have talked to you. Good to see you on this site.
Yeah....I kinda freaked me lookin at your pics. Tom was a close friend, along with your brother. You must miss him dearly still. :(
I have tried to get ahold of Tom but have never found a lead. Trevino and your brother were both in "Special Ed class" with me. Not that we were stupid but hell raisers..........Most all my pics from back then were distoyed in a flood we had here a number of years ago, bummer!!!!! I will send you what I still have. I remember sending you a pic of Rick when we were on a field trip in London.......still got it? Good to hear from you. Will talk again.
Will you be here at all on the 14th or the 17th? I usually go back to San Luis Obispo on the weekends. I leave on Fridays and come back early on Mondays. I have to be in SLO that weekend or I would stay up here to see you. Are you flying?
My biopsies all came out negative. My doctors say that I am very healthy for an old broad of 50. Thank you for being so thoughtful and asking. Let me know about the trip up here. I would really love to see you. Lenora
Sorry I have not been in touch for a while . I promise I will do
better from now on . I will try to get Lisa on this thing as
well . But she is worse than me with computers . I saw Mike the
other day and he said Hi ! Who knows , I might even get him on here . He is really busy in the studio right now though .
Yes Shirley Reader is still about . I will send you a longer
message giving you more information . It has changed a
lot over here , though the basics are still the same .
