Profile

What was your graduating class year? If you were a dormie, which one?
1976
What years were you at Lakenheath?
1968 - 1976
Where are you now, and where have you been?
I reside in Winter Haven, Florida. I've lived in Florida, England, Biloxi, San Diego, Osan AB, ROK, Okinawa, and North Carolina. I have been to most parts of the globe, courtesy of the United States Air Force until my retirement in 2000.
What's new with you? Work, play, relationships, family?
I teach Criminal Justice for Keiser University. Now that I have some spare time, I'm attempting to learn the game of "cow pasture pool". I have two children (young adults) April ,26 and Ryan, 23. They both live in the Orlando area and thus I make weekly trips to visit them and my darling 18 month old granddaughter, Alana. My parents live in Brandon, England and I make the trip over the pond a couple of times each year to visit with ole family and friend.
What did you do between Lakenheath and now?
I spent 23 years in the Air Force. I was fortunate enough to play on the frist AF soccer team back in 1981, just a couple of years ago. I held several positions in the Air Force to include law enforcement, recruiting duty, and squadron first sergeant. Was a great time and was very glad I continued my education so I could pursue teaching when I retired.

Well Lefty, sounds like you've been busy. Got about a bit,but that's the service for you. I nearly joinrd back in '78 but decided to stay civilian. I live in the same village I lived in while I was in school here. I married the girl I met in Hundon, Suffolk(not very far from Brandon)but she got bored with being married and found other things(men) to occupy her time. But as they say "shit happens".You'll have to let me know the next time you're over and we'll get together for a pint.Have you watched any of Euro '08 ? England didn't even qualify this year. Funny how things change. Stay in touch.

That is cool. My sister lives in Texas too she is a grad of 1983 (Lakenheath). She probably knew Todd, your broher. Please tell Karen I said hello. You should tell her about this site..... I just noticed two other people had signed up shortly after I had and they were also in the class of 86! Biloxi sure has changed since you were here. 1992 came the approval of casinos and now there are close to 12 (with more planned) up and down the coast. No shortage of buffets to eat at! And since Katrina, condos are well on their way. Again tell Karen I said Hi please. Mary

Are you Karen Noe's brother? I was a friend of hers back in the 8th 9th grade. I saw her a while back in Thetford, 90's.

Lefty, Good hearing from you. I'm surprise our paths didn't cross while we were serving Uncle Sam. If you ever venture thru San Antinio, look me up. I work out at Randolph AFB as a contractor with Lockheed Martin. Timing was not good for this years reunion but I do plan on making the next one. Enjoy the holidays and drop me a note every now and then...RZ
