- What was your graduating class year? If you were a dormie, which one?
- 1976- Dorm 1 for 2 school years (Class of 1974 and 1975)
- What years were you at Lakenheath?
- For the Classes of 1974 and 1975- At Lakenheath from 1973 to 1975. My Brother Carl graduated 1975. I finishd High School in San Bernardino California where there were at least 10 Lakenheath Alumni
- Where are you now, and where have you been?
- I now live in far Northeastern NY State only 7 miles from the Canadian Border and close to the State of Vermont Border. It is on the North Rim of the Adirondack Mountains and not far from Lake Placid. My life is very peaceful now. I thank god for that everyday. I haved missed all of you alot.
- What's new with you? Work, play, relationships, family?
- I am permanently retired since 2003, due to medical reasons. I almost died in 2006 from complications due to my diabetes and injuries I sufferd as the victim of a robbery in 1987. (Yes, I am still a little stubborn but, other than that, completely harmless.) I served in the US Navy after high school as a Search and Rescue Aircrewman- Rescue Swimmer flying on helos. I was decorated "for the heroic effort demonstrated during the rescue of the critically injured crewman aboard the USS Puget Sound on July 7, 1977" Certified completely nuts over wildlife. I love watching all the animals scurry around the woods and fields around our houses up here.
- What did you do between Lakenheath and now?
- Three wonderful children, Brandi 27 married, Ryan 25.5 single and Cheyney 24 engaged. I have been in two marriages, the second one lasting almost 20 years. I was divorced in 1999 and had a long relationship with a fellow dormie from Class of 1975, It did not exactly work out. I wish her the best. I have three grandsons, from my oldest daughter with another granchild on the way. Could this one be a girl??
- Name some old Lakenheath classmates you have contact with and will tell about this site.
- Too many to list after all those years. Don't forget those of us that went to Feltwell Jr. High too (1972-1973). We had to ride a bus 50 miles each way everyday from RAF Wethersfield to RAF Feltwell.

Tonight a New Year
Tonight all over the world are our classmates, our friends, our extended family moving forward into a new year, a new day. We will always be family like our fathers who served. Many of us also served, and I know somewhere in a scary part of the world there are Lancers on the line, standing a post. May the fighting spirit of being a Lancer sustain them as they complete their missions. May they all come home.
