Profile

What was your graduating class year? If you were a dormie, which one?
1984
What years were you at Lakenheath?
1981-83
Where are you now, and where have you been?
Currently in Wilmington, DE. After Lakenheath, I lived in Abilene, TX and then Delaware for college.
What's new with you? Work, play, relationships, family?
Currently, I am the Assistant to the Director of Family Services handling media, legislation and other issues. Don't beat your kids! Mmmkay? I play golf whenever humanly possible, sometimes well. Married once - divorced and now married again (this time for keeps). No kids, though i am a Big Brother - all the fun, none of the heartache. One nephew who is almost 3, another on the way, two cats and a dog. Life is good!
What did you do between Lakenheath and now?
Did my senior year of HS in Abilene, TX - would rather have stayed in England (thanks Dad!). Went straight into college and grad school. BA in Poli Sci and a Master of Public Administration from the Univ. of Delaware. Went to work for a major political party and then for the State of DE.
Name some old Lakenheath classmates you have contact with and will tell about this site.

Back at ya Kevin. I kid the RSN - I hate the Yankees with a passion, so it was great to see the BoSox getting their first ring - my wife is from Cleve. so she was not happy about the last ALCS. Someday my Phillies will be back there - someday... take care. Hope to see you in '10.

Hey hey Joe...Yup....think we're in similar fields although you work with children and I work with EVERONE else! Love my job...never know what I'm walking into every day at work!

My brother has been bugging me for months to look up this site, so glad I finally did...bit of a head trip! MB :)

Yes, my sister Kathy and I plan on it. It is going to be exciting. What about you? I have talked to Jocelyn and she said that she is going to go and I see that Dara has signed up. Should be fun :) I might even bring my son. My family is in N.H., can't go that far without dropping in on them!

I just checked out your page :) Congrats to you and your wife! No kids huh? Well that's ok, being a big brother is fantastic! There are so many needy boys out there. What age boys do you work with? I think that is great.

Yep I remember. It's funny. People still ask me and my sister why we are so nice. I always blame the military, saying we are one big family and it's due to us moving so often and leaving our friends and having to make new ones so often. Gosh, if people only new the places we've been and friends we've loved and lost. I have made sure that my son has been at the same school system that he started his whole life just to keep his friends. Something we were never had.

Hi Joe

My degrees are the opposite of yours. I majored in history with a minor in poli sci and MS in international relations. I have decided to go back to my history roots and my focus is 19th century Germany. Gotta love Bismarck :)

My older sister lives two streets over from me here and my other sister lives about 3 miles away. My parents also bought a house here this summer so I will be here for a while. It was good to move close to family after Greg died (he had a brain tumor). So if you come to Las Vegas you defiantly have a friend to visit.

Oh, and I will be Dr. Oma. Like all good German girls, I need to be Oma. I agree that I am too young to be a grandmother but then, at 18, my daughter is WAY too young to be a mother :P

Hi Joe

It is good to hear from you! Congratulations on your new marriage.

This year I decided to bite the bullet and go back to school for the long road to a PhD. Shocking??? I think so. We are now in Las Vegas and I plan to stay here until all the kids are graduated and out of the house. My oldest gets married in Nov and my middle daughter is gong to have my first granddaughter in Dec. Life is just plain nuts :D

I have such great memories of Dover. That was the best assignment that Greg and I had.

Hi Joe

Glad life is good for you. I wondered if you were still in DE. After we left Dover, we went to WY and now I am in Las Vegas. I miss the four seasons of Dover :)
